Kids Yoga Class Descriptions:

Teeny Yogini’s (ages 4-7)
In this energy releasing yoga class, we practice kid friendly poses and breathing techniques in a playful, supportive, and safe environment.  We introduce yamas (how to treat others) and niyamas (how to treat yourself), deepening a child’s sense of respect and awareness.  Kids will strengthen their bodies all while incorporating breathing and relaxation techniques.

Tween Yoga (ages 8-12)
This series engages kids by incorporating physical postures with the breath.  Visualization and breathing techniques help improve balance and concentration which can be applied to our everyday lives.  Yoga can be an important sanctuary for tweens, a place to develop self-confidence as well as focus while having fun!

Yoga is a discipline that puts children on the path towards a calm and balanced mind while helping them build a strong and flexible body, both tools that are essential for their growth. Our yoga classes are available to children of all ages including mommy and me classes. Bloom Yoga encourages children to be creative and explore their body and soul in a fun-filled way.

Our certified children’s yoga instructors use a fun, imaginative approach incorporating animal imitations and nature, and using expression games, music, art, and storytelling. All children’s yoga classes are 45-60 minutes long and are limited to 10 kids. Additional benefits to children’s yoga include:

Birthday Parties

Bloom Yoga is available to host your child’s yoga themed birthday party on Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

90-minute party includes:

  • kids yoga class
  • pizza and beverages
  • set-up and clean-up.

Maximum 15 kids.  $250 for the first 10 children, $10 for each additional child.
